Technical Specifications

 

  • 1. Plastic Materials
    • Acrylic (PMMA):
      • Its edges are smooth and transparent after cutting, making it ideal for high-precision products such as display stands and signs.
      • Common thickness range: 1-20 mm.
    • Polycarbonate (PC):
      • Suitable for cutting thin sheets, but thicker sheets may deform due to concentrated heat.
      • Recommended thickness: ≤5 mm.
    • Polyethylene (PE):
      • Commonly used for cutting thin sheets, but its low melting point may result in slightly rough edges.
    • Polyester (PET/PETG):
      • It offers excellent cutting performance and is suitable for the packaging and electronics industries.
    • Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) (Not Recommended):
      • Cutting produces toxic gases (such as hydrogen chloride). It is recommended to avoid cutting PVC directly or use dedicated exhaust gas treatment equipment.
  • 2. Wood and Wood Products
    • Wood:
      • It can cut both softwood and hardwood, making it suitable for furniture and handicrafts. Cutting thickness: 1-20 mm, depending on laser power.
    • Plywood:
      • Clean cutting edges, suitable for model making and furniture parts.
      • Glue-containing types may generate smoke and dust.
    • Medium-density fiberboard (MDF):
      • Easy to cut, but be aware of the high dust production; a powerful exhaust system is recommended.
    • Bamboo:
      • Excellent cutting and engraving properties, widely used in handicrafts and decoration.
  • 3. Textiles and soft materials
    • Fabrics:
      • Fabrics include cotton, wool, nylon, polyester, etc. Clean cutting edges, suitable for clothing and textile processing.
    • Leather:
      • Suitable for natural and artificial leather, commonly used in luggage, shoes, and decorative items.
    • EVA:
      • Fast cutting speed, used for packaging materials, shoemaking, or model making.
    • Rubber:
      • Can cut non-chlorinated rubber, used for seals and industrial gaskets.
  • 4. Paper Materials
    • Cardboard:
      • Fast cutting speed, suitable for sample production in the packaging industry.
    • Corrugated Cardboard:
      • Commonly used for making packaging boxes or display models.
    • Paper:
      • Fine cutting ability, widely used for custom cards and decorative designs.
  • 5. Stone and Non-metal Composite Materials
    • Marble/Granite/Slate:
      • Mainly used for surface engraving, such as patterns and text on marble.
    • Glass:
      • CO² lasers can engrave patterns, but generally cannot directly cut glass.
    • Ceramic:
      • Can be used for surface engraving, such as custom designs on ceramic tiles.
    • Composite Materials:
      • Includes carbon fiber sheets, fiberglass, etc., suitable for industrial and aerospace applications.
  • 6. Other Specialty Materials
    • Sponge:
      • Excellent cutting quality, suitable for custom packaging.
    • Resin:
      • Can be cut and engraved, making it suitable for crafts and decorative designs.
    • Acrylic Composite:
  • Can be cut to create a high-gloss finish, making it suitable for billboards and display designs.
