Mullis Machinery was founded in March 2025 by Scott Mullis, but the story behind it started nearly 30 years earlier. Scott's career in CNC machinery began in 1997 as an Application Engineer, and over the following decades he built deep expertise across nearly every corner of the industry, including application engineering, technology center management, and national and regional sales leadership for some of the best-known names in CNC machinery, such as MultiCam, Stiles Machinery, Waterjet U.S.A., and Southwestern Industries/TRAK Machine Tools.

Along the way, Scott managed multi-state sales territories, led teams of sales engineers and field service technicians, and worked directly with customers ranging from small fabrication shops to major manufacturers. That hands-on, in-the-field experience is what shapes how Mullis Machinery operates today: straightforward advice, honest recommendations, and equipment matched to how you actually work.

In March 2025, Scott put nearly 30 years of industry experience to work for himself, founding Mullis Machinery as a business based in Argyle, Texas. What started as one person's commitment to doing right by customers has grown into a trusted source for CNC routers, fiber lasers, press brakes, panel saws, edge banders, 6 sided drilling, dowel insertion, waterjets, welders, etc. and the software that ties it all together.
